Soft Floor UK Introduces 'Pro Mat' as Part of its Martial Arts Flooring Range

Consistent with other floor mats in their range, Soft Floor UK’s ‘Pro Mat’ has an interlocking edge design, which means other mats can be added easily to expand the covered area. Each Pro Mat tile is 1m sq. in size and a massive 40mm thick and provides anti-slip durability. With a density of 45° - 48°, the Pro Mat, when tested, crucially supported a minimum fall height of 1.5m and impact protection when placed on the hardest sub-floor (concrete).
The Pro Mat features a smooth, un-patterned finish, which reduces the risk of friction and grazing. They also have reversible (red/green) British Judo Association colours.
Applied at home and in centres for judo, karate, tae kwon do, boxercise and most forms of martial arts activities, the Pro Mat delivers a professional floor surface for grappling and competition activities.
The EVA material used in the Pro Mat meets compliance with ‘European Standard on Safety of Toys EN71 Part 1:1998’, ‘Mechanical and Physical Properties EN 71 Part 2:1993’ and the ‘Flammability of Toys and EN 71 Part 3: Migration of Certain Elements’ standards. The Pro Mat is also manufactured to ISO 9001 standards.
